New drawings 2025

I only achieve the necessary, concentrated focus in the studio, which the process of creating drawings demands, at times when there are no exhibitions or current projects running. In the first few months of this year, this was the case and I was able to create a whole series of new drawings on paper in my studio in the Black Forest. Exciting series of drawings, some in the usual square format, some going beyond it. Mainly using white chalk and charcoal chalk, as well as graphite, colored chalk (“Weissraum”) and duck tape...
With a new teaching assignment as a research assistant at the University of Landau, this workflow is now interrupted and will certainly continue at a later date. New concepts and ideas have developed sufficiently from the previous series. (jk)
