With BODIES IN MOTION, sculptor Jochen Kitzbihler continues the spatial and conceptual expansion of his work. An installation with original iron meteorites from world-famous finds is an extraordinary highlight of the Basel exhibition. Kitzbihler's photographic images radiate the mysterious beauty of the unknown and oscillate between revelation and dissolution. Long exposures of meteorite finds (see illustration) are testimonies to the cosmic transformation of the first formation of matter and spring from his sculptural world of ideas.
