Statement jk:
The concept-image DORT (There) is based on a satellite image of Victoria Crater on Mars. The highly aesthetic, eroded crater can be described as one of the most explored places in the solar system, outside of Earth and the moon. DORT is a symbol of man's deep longing and his unstoppable desire to expand. The fascinating image of this supposed place of salvation led me to create imaginary and naive statements, to simple and philosophical questions and even to a formulation of fears or concerns about a concept of existence in this seemingly paradisiacal place on our neighboring planet.
